We hope that our governments review all medical devices and procedures thoroughly, objectively, and with great concern for our health. In this day of lobby groups however, we never can be quite sure our best interests are always at the forefront of their decisions to approve medical products and procedures.
Despite that cynical comment, we are not saying that governments are bad or out to line their own pockets (stop laughing!), on the contrary. What we are saying is that you must review government information with a critical eye and not just accept everything they say without question.
As we stress over and over on the pages in this site, the decision is yours alone to make so always ask yourself if the government info you read makes good sense.
